Brian Medlam (Broadstone GC) has won the SWCGA Seniors Championship, on a wet, misty and very windy two days at Lyme Regis Golf Club.  The first day had to be abandoned even though the staff and members at the club tried very hard to get the greens playable, as the heavens opened and made play impossible for the rest of the day.  The following morning they played an eighteen hole championship and EGU Qualifier.  Brian shot a fantastic 1 under par 70 to blow the field away and take the championship from Chris Dennis (Broadstone GC) who had an excellent 73 to secure second place in very windy conditions.
