In a field of 33 entries, Kyra Horlock emerged as the winner of the Broadstone Junior Club Championship 2009 with a 36 hole Gross score of 146, with rounds of 75 in the morning and 71 in the afternoon against a SS of 72.

Ben Small was the Net Winner with a 36 hole Net score of 126, with rounds of net 63 in the morning and another net 63 in the afternoon.

There were excellent scores produced on the day from many of the Juniors, with almost one third of the rounds at Par or under and almost half the field improving on their first round score in the afternoon round. On this course, that is a very creditable performance from these young challengers and their future in the game looks very good.
