The second round of the Parkstone Trophy was played at home against Worplesdon on 13th July having won the first round away at North Hants. (The format is 10 a side scratch foursomes with ages 55 or over, 5 matches in in the morning and 5 matches in the afternoon. The ages of fifth pair have to be 130 or more)

Team captain Campbell Boal had to withdraw at the last minute and was replaced by Graham Butson who won both his games partnered by John Nash. The fifth pair (Barry Pavitt and Alan Jones with a combined age of over 130) also won both their games. Only one game was lost all day so that with two halved the final score was 8 - 2 to Broadstone. The next round is the semi-final which is against Parkstone on 25th August at home.
