| Broadstone Juniors win the Colin Chataway Trophy |

The Junior Team of Jordan Howlett (Captain), David Steward jnr., Jon Brunnock & Ben Small won the Colin Chataway Trophy at Knighton Heath on 13th August 2009. Playing as team stableford, Jordan scored 33 points, David - 39 points, Jon - 43 points and Ben - 33 points, for a team total of 148 points - well done boys. The Colin Chataway Trophy organised by The Dorset Golf Captains was introduced in 1982 to help Juniors 16 years of age and under with etiquette and the interpretation of the rules of golf. It is a team competition consisting of four players and the team with the highest total score of all four players win. Each group of players is supervised by a Dorset Captain to advise them as necessary.
