A lovely sunny day saw the Broadstone Junior Open off to a fine start. 60 Juniors from Dorset, Hampshire,  Wiltshire and Somerset entered the competition and the scores on the day clearly showed the calibre of these young golfers. The course itself was in excellent condition, the day was very warm but without a lot of breeze and they took full advantage of that. 

The overall winner of the Junior Open was Mr B Stow from Rushmore Golf Club, with a Gross 67.

The winner of the Net prize for the Boys was Matthew Keel from Baroadstone Golf Club with a net 61

The winner of the best Gross Score for the Girls was Miss F Carpenter from Knighton Heath with a Gross 84

The winner of the best Net Score for the Girls was Miss L Turner from Broadstone Golf Club with Net 67

Congratulations to everyone who entered the competition. Almost one third of the field produced net scores of Par or better on the day. Our thanks to everyone who was involved in the organisation and management of the day and we look forward to seeing everyone back again next year to compete again.
