The Broadstone Golf Club Captain's Charity for 2010 is the Round Table Children's Wish. This is a a charity founded and run by the Round Table to grant wishes to children under the age of 17 who have life-threatening illnesses. A wish can be to meet someone special, to do something special, to go somewhere special or to have something special - in fact, whatever is important to the child. The main criteria are that the child's illness must be life-threatening, the wish must be truly the child's own, and it must be granted whilst the child is well enough to fully enjoy it.
The Captain's Charity Day in 2010 is September 12th.
Neil Irish, the Club Captain, invites you to this Charity Golf Day in aid of The Round Table Children's Wish. Entries are open to members of any club and gentlemen, ladies, juniors and mixed teams are all welcome. Entrance fees offer excellent value for money at the Premier Heathland Course in the South of England. Entry fee includes:
* 18 holes of golf on a course rated within the Top 100 in the UK
* Coffee and Danish pastry on arrival
* Complementary drink on the 8th
* Prize Table - for members and visitor teams
* Special prizes - nearest the pin, straightest drive, nearest the pin in 2 plus more
* Two course meal followed by coffee or tea
There will also be a raffle taking place with terrific prizes including a brand new iPhone and experience prizes with all proceeds going to the Captain's Charity The Round Table Children's Wish.
The cost is Members £130 per team (£32.50pp)
Visitors £170 per team (£42.50pp)
Teams can be a mix of members and visitors
Extra meals can be ordered for non playing partners / family / guests @ £15 pp
The Competition Format will be Stableford with the best two individual scores on each hole to count.
