The golf course was presented superbly over the weekend and my sincere thanks to Ady and his greens staff who put in a lot of effort and time over the weekend. I also want to say that I truly believe that our golf course has been a real treat this year and one to be very proud of In my mind everyone who took part in the weekend is a winner with special congratulations to Paul Cooper who won the Captain’s Prize weekend with a fantastic first day stableford score of 41 points and a solid second day medal score of net 71. Paul, playing off 6 (well was), won the top prize of the latest laser range finder. Many thanks also to those who took part in the Charity Pro Challenge on the 8th hole on Sunday and along with the Charity BBQ on Sunday we raised a fantastic £400 for the ‘Children’s Wish’, my sincere thanks to you all.
