The Millennium League team have started this year's campaign with a difficult home tie on Sunday against a strong Hayling Island team who were winners of the league trophy last year. Jin Robertson, Phil Purvis, Pete Asquith, keith Rawling, Scott Johnson, Richard Crabb, Mansel Thomas and Wes Hacker played in alomost idela conditions against a side who soundly beat us last year.

There were notable wins for Scott (6&5) and Richard in his first outing for the team (4&3). Phil, Keith and Mansel also recorded wins while Wes earned a hard fought half. The result was a credible 5.5 to 2.5 win which is a great start for the team.

The team are now looking forward to another home match this Sunday against Hockley.
