Captain's Charity Day 2011

Julia's House is the chosen charity in 2011 for the Captain's Charity Day. It is a local charity that receives virtually no support from the government, relying upon donations from the local community to do its good work.

The Captain's Charity Day competition will be held on 18th September 2011 and is a 4-person team, competing for various prizes  The day is sponsored by numerous Community Sponsors plus a small number of Premium Sponsors. All of the proceeds go to the charity, so please support it in your normal, generous way.

In 2009 Broadstone Golf Club raised over £17,000 for Julia's House. Let's see what we can do this year!

Julia's House is Dorset's only hospice dedicated to children with life-limiting conditions. The children's hospice complements the work of the Julia's House Community Team - 65 nurses and carers who travel the county, providing life-changing support for families in their own homes. The charity receives virtually no financial support from the Government, relying almost entirely upon funds raised within the community. This is a primary reason for Broadstone Golf Club choosing to support this charity, in recognition of the dedication and commitment shown by its staff and volunteers and the help they bring to the families within the community.
