The Club Open Forum Evening is scheduled to take place on the Thursday 8th September at 7pm.
The new management structure at the Club has now been in place since November 2010 and the forum is an opportunity for the Committee to update members on the Club's business plan and also to get members feedback so that they are not excluded from the process.
The forum will start at 7pm with a presentation from Peter Kirk of BRS tee booking software, after Peter's presentation there will be a short Q&A session. Following the tee booking software presentation we will move on to a discussion on fairway irrigation, we have invited Roger Davey (Irritech) & Ady Archer (Course Manager) along for this part of the evening. Roger will give us his unbiased and professional opinion on the subject and both he and Ady will be happy to answer any questions that the members may have.
This initial part of the evening should last approximately one hour after which the Committee and I will then bring you up to date on various matters around current and possible future Club business. These will range from a finance update from David Holmes (finance convenor) to updates on golf course maintenance, clubhouse upgrades and possible clubhouse relocation!
The evening will finish with a Q&A session with the opportunity for the members present to ask about anything related to the ongoing development of the Club and to get members feedback.
I hope you can make it along and look forward to seeing you there.
